How to maintain the scraper conveyor correctly?

The scraper conveyor looks simple, but in the actual production, it is one of the fault frequency equipment, the correct maintenance and use of the scraper conveyor is particularly important.Scraper conveyor has a wide range of USES, plays a very important role in feed mills, especially large feed mills indispensable equipment.Its types include horizontal scraper conveyor, inclined scraper conveyor and self-cleaning scraper conveyor.

According to the structural characteristics of the scraper conveyor, combined with my own practical experience, daily maintenance should be carried out from the following aspects:

1. Check the chain, roller and sprocket for excessive wear.

2. Regularly lubricate the bearings, gears and reducer in strict accordance with the manufacturer's product specifications.

3. Check all protective devices regularly to ensure they work reliably.

4. Check the tightening degree of all bolt connections regularly, and tighten them timely if looseness is found.

5. Check and adjust the tension of the drive belt or chain frequently.

6. often check whether the operation is normal, whether there is abnormal noise, fault should be promptly stopped to eliminate.

7. During operation, prevent iron blocks and large hard objects from mixing into the tank to avoid damage to the machine.

8. regular conveyor hemp rope and other sundries, so as to avoid the motor overload after winding the chain, damage the motor and reducer.

9. check whether the chain pin is broken or loose, timely change or repair check whether the scraper is damaged or worn.Replace or repair any bent or missing scraper.Scratches or grooves on the "polyethylene" scraper may indicate other problems.
